Niagara Falls Hotel & Spa Star On

We stayed here for a week in September to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversity. It was worth every dollar we spent. The views of the falls are wonderful, a site that one must see to believe. We stayed in a 2 room king suite, which was perfect. Plenty of room and privacy. This is a good location and we were able to park the car and walk or ride the people mover anywhere we wanted to go. We took one day trip to visit the wineries and Niagara by the Lake and that was the only time we had go get back into the car - another great place.
The first night there we walked to TGIF Fridays and couldn't believe the price we paid for a hamburger/fries platter and chicken/fries platter and one soda - a whopping $42 plus a tip - $47. We ate very reasonably and the food was delicious at Tony Romas (get the ribs). The Keg has great views (make a reservation, asking for a table by the window) and the steaks were mouthwatering.
two MUST DO's are the Butterfly Conservatorium and you must ride the Sea Mist boats to view the falls up close, prepared to get wet.
I'd recommend bring a cooler for water and drinks. There are mini-bar/refrigators, but items are costly. ($10 bottle of water in the room). We had them clear the mini-bar but it will only hold a few items.
Parking is expensive $20 a day, but the valet's are quick and very helpful.
